We may cancel or refuse an order in cases such as:

If so, we will refund you promptly.

Pawhut does not provide veterinary advice—consult a professional if unsure.

We never store full credit card details.
All sensitive information is handled securely by payment partners.

Currency and Fees

If a payment fails, we may cancel your order and notify you to retry.


Shipping and Delivery – Getting Goodies to Your Door

Customer Responsibility

Please ensure your address is correct before completing your order.
We cannot refund shipping costs for incorrect addresses.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

If an order is lost or arrives damaged, we will assist by lodging a courier investigation.
Resolutions depend on the courier’s policies.

Tracking

Shipment tracking is sent to your email.
Some orders may require signatures to prevent theft.


Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

You are entitled to remedies for faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods, including:

Change of Mind Returns

We offer change-of-mind returns within 30 days, provided:

  • Item is in original packaging

  • Item is in resellable condition

You will receive store credit or exchange.
Return shipping for change of mind is at your cost.
Cash refunds are not available unless required by law.

Return Process

Email us at support@pawhut.com.au with:

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

If the issue is our fault, we will provide a prepaid return label.
Refunds are processed in 7–10 business days to your original payment method.

Pet Health Note

If you believe a product has impacted your pet’s well-being, contact us immediately.


Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including ACL):

  • Pawhut is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., vet bills due to misuse, loss of time, etc.).

  • Our liability is capped at the purchase price of the item involved.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted site access.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Intellectual Property

All content on Pawhut’s website—including product designs, images, graphics, logos, and text—is owned by Pawhut or licensed to us.

Your Use

You may use our site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

User-Generated Content

By posting reviews, images, or pet photos, you grant Pawhut a royalty-free license to share or display them on our website or social media.
Content must be appropriate and lawful.


Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia (or your state/territory if you prefer — tell me and I’ll adjust).

Disputes will be handled by courts in that jurisdiction.
We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, such as:

  • Courier strikes

  • System outages

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and other store policies, form the entire agreement between you and Pawhut.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is invalid, the remaining sections remain effective.
